Inutile addentrarsi troppo nei dettagli di un prodotto eccezionale, che non può mancare nella collezione di chi ha cominciato ad ascoltare un certo tipo di musica negli anni novanta. Oltre alla curiosità di vedere Jeff Waters e Tim Owens all’opera su “Abigail” di King Diamond, o di seguire gli Slipknot smascherati su “(Sic)” o ascoltare un insospettabile Ville Valo voce su “Black No. 1”, potrete anche cascare dalla sedia nel vedere un completamente sbronzo Brian Fair ribaltarsi sullo stage e cadere dallo stesso su “Eye For An Eye” o rimanere senza parole quando Glen Benton arriva sul palco per “Dead By Dawn”. E come tacere su Rob Flynn mattatore della serata in delirio su “Surfacing” o nel non nominare le assi portanti della band Dino Cazares, Andreas Kisser e Adam Duce? Possibile tralasciare il duetto da pelle d’oca Corey Taylor/Keith Caputo su “Bother”?

Non dovevo addentrarmi troppo nei dettagli ma è francamente impossibile non farlo con così tanta carne al fuoco. Nel documentario di presentazione del concerto avrete inoltre modo di ascoltare le opinioni e le battute dei protagonisti mentre essi stessi visionano il concerto.
Se proprio dovessimo trovare un punto debole nel doppio Dvd, punteremmo l’indice verso l’audience, eccessivamente statica e poco dedita al massacro che si sarebbe scatenato in qualsiasi altro paese di fronte a un evento simile.
